My name is Jordan I draw comics, do graphic design, run a sign shop, run Boston's chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild and I also publish a zine called We Must Become Our Heroes. Sometimes I sleep.

The magazine is a pet project of mine, it is dedicated to personal empowerment through cultural dissection. The first issue came out at the Small Press Expo a few months ago. It features a six-page comic about losing someone I loved dearly, a career-spanning interview with Animal, lead singer of infamous UK punks, the Anti-Nowhere League and a heart-kicking love letter to pre-Katrina New Orleans written by former resident Sarah Jaffe and drawn by dirty Victorian illustrator Molly Crabapple. There are also ten pages of comics, including a black and white eulogy that confronts mortality and challenges the notion of unnecessarily prolonging the lives of our loved ones.
