I've been collecting comics for the past fifteen years, can't really say how many that amounts to overall (only recently got around to organizing my collection) but they fill up more than eight of the long collectible comicbook boxes.

Currently the titles that really grab me include:

but course the list of comics I count as my favorites is much longer.

Personal info:
I'm 29 years old and currently work in the Finance sector in New York City. I mostly enjoy quirky movies, some of my favorites include Night of the Comet, The Warriors, Waxwork, Go, The Big Lebowski, Waiting, and The Incredibles.

In my spare time I hobby as a costumer, I've volunteered at a number of events - including charity fundraisers, parades, fairs, store advertisements, and sporting events. This past summer I took it a step further and worked in a paid position as a Geoffrey Giraffe at Toys R Us in Time Square, the stress of working seven days a week eventually got to me and I had to give up that part-time job but I've been exploring one-shot assignments through various contacts.

Another hobby of mine includes writing short stories, some of which I've posted on free hosting sites such as Fiction Press.
Can't say I'm an artist, I mostly doodle with art though I am hoping to improve my skill at some point.

And that's a very quick summary of who I am, when something more interesting pops up I'll be sure to update this page.

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going!
If you are a news outlet or resource of any sort, we invite you to help spread the word about Small Press Idol, and get on the official Sponsors and Supporters list on the Idol Main Page. Traditionally, the page has gotten hundreds of thousands of hits a month for the 5 months the contest runs. All we ask in return for the link placement on our prominently placed list, is a link back in some way that is fairly prominent, and that you indeed cover the contest if you are a news site. You can contact us about that right from the guidelines page.
Just want to watch the show? That’s great! Now is time to sign up at the site so you can VOTE in the rounds to come, and post comments about your favorites! We’re expecting hundreds of contestants this year. It should be a lot of fun!
