Something about me? Short part of my bio as read on my website yvelguichet.com: New York native Yvel Guichet's work has graced dozens of comic book pages for over 14 years. He set foot into the industry at a young age beginning with Valiant Comics in 1992 while attending college. Yvel continues his career with many fruitful successes along the way. With an eye for illustrating and character design he's earned party to many special series projects notably with DC Comics, Darkhorse and Valiant Comics.

As read on myspace: Yvel Guichet's artwork has appeared in dozens comics for over 10 years. He actually started warming up back in 1992 at the golden age of 19 with Valiant Comics. Companies past and present saw his art progress through experimentation and exploration through whatever raw ability or influences he came in with. "Ive done some time with the different companies such as Valiant, Marvel, DC, Darkhorse, Penthouse Comix, Knightstone and Mythic Press. I feel you can always endure the biz if you try to reinvent yourself. I think I have a somewhat eclectic taste so I tend to like a lot of different things. I refuse to be branded as a single style artist or one not able to cross styles over different genres when it comes time. This way Ive allowed myself to carry a more openminded approach for storytelling and design and makes for a kickass portfolio."
